Huawei

Huawei was founded in 1987 and has quickly grown into one of the leading global providers of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices. Huawei has over 170,000 employees as of September 2015, around 76,000 of whom are engaged in research and development (R&D). Ireland was identified as a new region for investment from Huawei, with hubs in Cork, Athlone and an expanding footprint in Dublin.Following our successful completion of their Athlone premises in 2018, we were again appointed to oversee the complete fit-out of Huawei’s impressive new City Centre location in 2019.

The project was carried out in a mixed use occupied building. Being conscious of the potential impacts on both residential & office-based neighbours provided unique logistical challenges so strict site management was vitally important. This finished office is stunning with extensive bespoke joinery solutions and a one-of-a-kind “lightbox” reception area. Embracing the changeable working habits of the modern office this office boasts a heavy mix of multi-function and breakout space distributed among different zones and feature colours delineate each area. There is a careful interplay of rich, dark furnishings and vibrant, modern brightness throughout.
